The Oakland Press is seeking entries for its Lassie contest, which runs through Aug. 23.
All you have to do is send in a funny pet story and photo along with your name, address, email, phone number and whether you are a current subscriber, to: Lassie Contest; Oakland Press Marketing Dept., 48 W. Huron, Pontiac, MI 48342.
One grand prize winner will receive four passes to the advance screening of Lassie at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 27 at Great Lakes Crossing, a T-shirt, frisbee, Lassie-approved dog food, the Lassie series DVD and a film poster. Plus, the grand prize entry will be published in the Sept. 16 Pet World issue.
An additional 25 entrants will each win an admit-two pass to the advance screening. Winners will be notified Aug. 24. The film opens Sept. 1.
Entrants must be 15 and under to enter. Entries must be received by Aug. 23.
