Golf outing benefits greyhound organization
Michigan REGAP (Retired Greyhounds as Pets) is hosting the ninth annual Golf to Save Greyhounds, June 7 at Tanglewood Golf Club, 53503 Ten Mile Road, South Lyon. For directions of course information, call (248) 486-3355. Registration starts at 10 a.m. with a noon tee off. The $125 fee includes continental breakfast, Putt for Pups contest, driving range, 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch, dinner, drink, and 10 raffle tickets. Meet adoptable greyhounds. Humane Society hosting golf outing
The Michigan Humane Society (MHS) will be holding Putts Fore Paws, an inaugural golf outing June 9 at at Forest Lake Country Club, 1401 Club Drive, Bloomfield Hills. Registration and breakfast, including driving range and putting green availability, begin at 8 a.m. followed by a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start. A luncheon and awards ceremony will follow at 3 p.m. Foursomes can enjoy the festivities, while supporting the work of MHS for $1,200, which includes full breakfast, driving range and putting green access prior to the start, 18 holes of golf with cart, refreshments served on the course, luncheon and awards reception. Availability is limited. Twosome packages ($600) and sponsorship opportunities are also available.
